I'd like to see prices before registering...
Unless you have registered and are logged-in, you will only be able to see the full retail (MSRP) price. Because we sell at special military-only prices, we are obligated by our vendors to restrict pricing visibility to logged-in users. Registering for an account is quick and easy. If you have a .mil email address you just need to complete the registration form and your account will be approved as soon as it’s received. If you don’t have a .mil email address, you will need to upload proof of status when you register (be sure to black out any sensitive information). We’ll review the submitted documentation and approve your account if everything checks out.
I can't find what I'm looking for...
If you don’t see what you are looking for, drop us a line here. We typically have access to the full lineup of the brands we carry. If it’s not a brand we carry, it may be a bigger challenge, but we will try our hardest to get you what you are looking for at the military-only discounts you expect!
Do You Ship APO/FPO?
Toggle content goes here, click edit button to change this text.We absolutely do! That being said, some destinations have additional restrictions beyond the normal size/weight limits. We will do our best to accommodate those, but in some cases, we just can’t make a package small enough. In that case we will look for alternative means to ship your order. We are also happy to work with forwarding services such as APO Box, but keep in mind that they will charge you a fee for their services.
Keep in mind, it is ultimately your responsibility to know what restrictions are in place for your APO address.
What shipping methods do you use?
Most of our larger packages are shipped with FedEx. Smaller packages are typically shipped through the US Postal Service. If we’re shipping to an APO address, your order will always be shipped through the US Postal Service.
All bikes purchased from us have free ground shipping to CONUS and APO addresses.
No matter where we ship your order to, we make sure your bike is packaged so that it arrives safely. In the rare case there is damage that occurs in transit, it is imperative that you note that damage when taking delivery and contact us right away. Do NOT discard any of the packaging as we will need to file a claim with the carrier.
Do you offer free shipping?
Absolutely! All orders over $50, including bikes, that ship to a CONUS or APO address are shipped with free ground shipping. Outside of CONUS, shipping rates do apply. Expedited shipping options are available as well.
I'm at an APO address, but I can't get anyone to ship a bike to me...
We understand. Most bikes are shipped in boxes that exceed the size limits for an APO address. Unlike other retailers, we are setup to handle this. Depending on the bike, we take several steps to make sure that we ship within those size limits, but perhaps most importantly, make sure it arrives undamaged.
I'd like to order a bike, but I'm afraid of doing a ton of assembly...
This is one of the things that sets us apart from our competitors. When you order a bike from us, we’ll fully assemble it, fully adjust all the components, including brakes and shifters, and do additional checks on sensitive components like rear derailleurs. Then we go and test your bike to make sure everything functions as expected under load. It’s all part of our Read to Ride Guarantee.
Once we’re sure everything is working as designed, we’ll mark positions of anything we disassemble for shipment (typically seat posts, handlebars, etc.). Then we get your bike ready for shipment and include any tools you might need for reassembly. Your bike will also ship with detailed instructions on what we disassembled and how to put it back together. Typically, you will spend about 15-20 minutes from taking your bike out of the box to hopping on and riding it for the first time.
If you are concerned about doing even minimal assembly, we can arrange to ship your new bike fully assembled. We are happy to do this for you, but keep in mind that it will have to be shipped via palletized freight and there will be additional shipping charges.
Certain bikes when shipped APO may require more assembly than others, due to the size restrictions. This is especially true of mountain bikes where in some cases we will have to remove the fork to meet the package size restrictions. If that is the case, we will make sure you have all the tools and instructions you need for reassembly. And as is the case for any purchase, we can always jump on a Skype or FaceTime call to help you out.
I have a warranty issue. What do I do?
Being an online bicycle dealer and you being probably a few thousand miles away from our warehouse can make this a little challenging. That being said, we have a number of tricks up our sleeve to help you out and get you back to pedaling. The best thing is to drop us a line here and we will find a way to fix the issue. Don’t forget, we’re authorized dealers for everything we sell. That means you do not have to worry about your warranty.
What is your return policy?
We don’t believe in lengthy return policies with ton’s of exclusions, so here’s the short version:
Gear and accessories are returnable provided they are unopened and in sale-able condition. Bikes are not. That being said, if there is a problem with anything you have ordered, bikes included, we will always work with you to find a solution. Like most things in life, there are exceptions, so if you have a specific question or concern, drop us a line here.
Do I have to pay sales tax?
Currently only in Arizona and Mississippi. Sales tax for e-commerce is something that is in a constant state of change as states and municipalities draft new rules to capture revenue. If sales tax applies to you, it will show in the checkout process.
Do you offer price matching?
Military discount pricing is standard for us. That means we’ve negotiated with our brands special pricing that we can extend only to customers with verified military credentials. It’s always possible that you find someone else who is running a promotion and has a lower price. We won’t always be able to say “yes”, but we’d like to at least have the opportunity to consider it, so drop us a line here if you do.
